Innvikfjorden is a beautiful place, lined with trees, with waterfalls everywhere tumbling down from the snow-capped heights above. At the end of the fjord, and on the mouth of the Oldeelva is the small village of Olden.
Olden and the valley behind it leading up to Briksdal glacier is perhaps the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. The scenery is on an epic scale, like nothing I’ve seen outside of films. I felt like a small hobbit out of the shire and into the wider world. I fell in love with Olden and it’s valley instantly. Bet it’s a bit nippy in winter though.
